Making A Planned Gift PDF Print E-mail
Make Waikiki Health Center a part of your lasting legacy. A planned gift of any amount helps ensure that quality medical and social services will be given to those in need for generations to come. There are many options from which you can choose:

Wills & Bequests
Life Insurance
Charitable Gift Annuities
Charitable Remainder Trusts

Depending on the method, your gift may offer enhanced financial benefits by conserving assets, increasing your lifetime income, or providing substantial savings in income, gift, and estate taxes. As individual circumstances do vary, we encourage you to consult your financial advisor or attorney to decide what is best for you or your family.

Here are some examples of friends who chose to support Waikiki Health Center through a planned gift:

Dr. M. Lou Hefley
- endowment and estate beneficiary

Dr. Hefley's relationship with Waikiki Health Center began in 1969 when the Center was still known as the "Waikiki Drug Clinic". She started as a volunteer physician and eventually served on the board of directors for many years. In 2005,
Dr. Hefley added even more to her list of admirable contributions to our Center -- she pledged an endowment and named Waikiki Health Center as a beneficiary to her estate.

Her gifts were instrumental in completed a major interior renovation process at our main clinic, which included the addition of three wheelchair-accessible exam rooms on the ground floor and a new pharmacy. Dr. Hefley's passionate committment to serving others lives on through her generosity.

Robert "Bob" Gentry
- bequest to Waikiki Health Center

As a patient, Bob knows about our services first-hand. To show his appreciation for what Waikiki Health Center has done in his life and for the community, Bob chooses to be a volunteer and monthly Wiki Wiki donor. He has also decided to support Waikiki Health Center by including us in his will.

"I know Waikiki Health Center provides great services that the community should benefit from for generations," explains Bob, "and the process for including them in my will was easy."
